American Junior Red Cross News magazines from the 1920s and 1930s. Set of 3. Colorful covers with energetic and interesting articles and black and white images that show life in America between the two World Wars. The magazines are as follows: 

American Junior Red Cross News (May, 1933). With image by M.S. Casey of silhouettes of children dancing with ribbons around a maypole on the cover. With 4 page supplement insert "A Guide for Teachers." pp.194-216. Some small stains and worm damage on covers, but pages and insert are very clean. Some pages are loose from the staples, and there is some splitting on the spine.

American Junior Red Cross News (November, 1935). With image of a woman riding a horse surrounded by children with lamps on the cover. With 4 page supplement insert "A Guide for Teachers." Red cover. Back advertisement is of a life preserver "Join the American Red Cross." pp.58-84.Some small stains and wear on covers, but pages and insert are very clean. Some pages are loose from the staples.

American Junior Red Cross News (April, 1936). With image by R. Bruce Hornhill of swans under weeping willows on the cover. With 4 page supplement insert "A Guide for Teachers." pp. 198-224. Some small stains and worm damage on covers, but pages and insert are very clean. Some pages are loose from the first staple out of two.

Overall, all magazines are in good condition.

Each magazine measures 11 1/4 H x 8 W x 1/16 D inches, and weighs approximately 2 1/4 ounces.
