A 32nd degree Scottish Rite Masonic medal or pendant. Vintage gold pendant or charm with a two-headed eagle holding a sword with a banner, wings spread out. With beautiful detail in the feathers and heads, both back and front. 14K gold with a diamond set on the chest of the eagle on one side and a garnet set directly opposite on the other side.
On the front, an inverted triangle of black enamel above the eagle's heads reads "32" and a banner in black enamel beneath the feet reads "Spes Mea in Deo Est," Latin for "My hope is in God." The back has an inverted triangle above the eagle's heads with a curved line in black enamel. The inverted triangle is attached to the double-headed eagle with a hinge.
