Burlwood armoirette with marquetry. A small, bowed front box with two handled doors, an interior mirror, and a top compartment with lid. Inlaid with wood and mother of pearl. The two curved burlwood doors swing open in front with small brass handles.
From France around the 1890s. A jewelry box or a lady's liquor cabinet. In good condition. Doors and lid move smoothly on hinges, and inlay is well preserved. Some minor crackling in the original varnish. It measures 11 x 9 1/2 x 10 5/8 inches and weighs 2 lbs 15.5 oz.
