Stereoscope Card - 8. Calais- Église Notre-Dame de Calais


This is an example of English architecture in France. Built in the 12th Century, it is in the Tudor style. This is of course because Calais was English. Churches of a similar age in the surrounding area that was not the domain of the English are romanesque.
