Chantilly - the Prince's bedroom. The Princes in question are the Princes of Condé, then a cadet branch of the House of Bourbon. They elevated themselves along with this great chateau and it was The House of Conde that fought against the Revolutionaries in support of their cousin, Louis XVI. They did not lose their heads, but were rather absorbed into the House of Orleans in 1830.
